Together with Environmental Conservation Community of Tanzania (ECCT) we launched a survey on sanitation and hygiene by hand washing in schools in Kisarawe district to prevent the Covid-19 project on 21st May 2021 at Kisarawe district council’s “Kisarawe district now, I don’t expect any cases from the project area to be reported for the students to be affected by these infectious diseases such as Cholera, Skin disease, diarrhea, Typhoid and Covid-19. as they have the infrastructure for making sure of full control of the spread of these infectious diseases”

Continuing our partner highlight series! We would love to spotlight Environmental Conservation Community of Tanzania (ECCT) @ecct_org that Empower is collaborating with to incentivise and improve plastic waste pollution in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. They are hosting monthly beach clean-ups in collaboration with Empower and other local cleanup organizations. Thank you to our dedicated collectors and organizations in Tanzania for creating a long-lasting impact.

PROJECT OCEANIC
Recognition and appreciation to non government and government organizations on their work of conserving our environment should be the priority and ideal forefront agenda to our government environmental department as a means of showing our sincere gratitude to different organizations who are working tirelessly to mobilize communities on conserving our environment. We need population-based solutions that assist governments in unlocking individual and communal environmental conservation capacities. We need more interventions like what the Environmental Conservation Community of Tanzania (ECCT) is doing, that mobilize individuals, communities and populations toward achieving a clean, green and healthy ocean and land ecosystem.
